In June 2017 the UVa signed the official accession with the European Union to the “European Charter for Researchers and Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers” (Charter and Code).
In order to obtain the so-called HR Excellence in Research seal, it is necessary to carry out a situation diagnosis on the degree of compliance with the principles of the Charter and Code and the definition of an Action Plan to correct the detected deviations and implement human resources management actions for research.
The first step taken has been to carry out a survey among the UVa research staff in order to know the researchers’ perception of the current situation in the UVa, carried out between December 2017 and March 2018.
After a process of data analysis, we attach here the results of the survey.
Obtaining the HR Excellence in Research seal will accredit the UVa as an entity committed to quality in the management of human resources in research.
